About the Event

Detroit’s young people deserve clear, supported pathways that help turn their passions and talents into careers that build wealth and stability here in Detroit. Building on Detroit Future City’s Career-Connected Learning: Investing in Detroit’s Future Talent report, this convening will bring together leaders across education, workforce development, and youth development for a focused conversation about how Detroit can expand and strengthen access to career pathways for its youth.

Together, we’ll explore how local education ecosystems are expanding access to high-quality career pathways, how industry leaders can open doors to high-opportunity careers, and how the region’s community colleges are reshaping the journey from classroom to career, with young people’s experiences and aspirations at the center.

Join us for this in-person convening to explore bold ideas, collaborate, and help build a stronger future for Detroit youth.
