The 2025 Future City Forum

Future City Forum

We invite you to join 300+ visionary leaders for a powerful day of ideas, action, and connection at DFC’s freshly branded Future City Forum, our signature annual in-person event. As DFC celebrates its 10th anniversary, this forum will be a space to come together and spark bold solutions for Detroit for the next 10 years. This year’s event will feature:

Future City Forum Keynote

Detroit Future City names Dr. Michael McAfee, CEO of Policy Link, as the keynote speaker for the 2025 Future City Forum.
Dr. McAfee is a visionary leader whose work has shaped national conversations on equity, leadership, and systems change. At Future City Forum, he will challenge us to reimagine what’s possible for our communities—focusing on how to build a just society and an equitable economy, especially for those most impacted by structural racism.
