Stormwater Management for All in Detroit with Jodee Raines of Erb Family Foundation & Anika Goss of DFC

Anika Goss, Executive Director of Detroit Future City (DFC), and Jodee Raines, Executive VP of Programs for the Fred A. and Barbara M. Erb Family Foundation, have a conversation in Detroit about stormwater management and its impact on climate health equity and water quality in Detroit. The Chandler Park Marshland has shown how residents can organize in and for their community to construct a stormwater wetland to provide public health, environmental and recreational benefit to residents of Detroit.

Lola Gibson-Berg, Community Education Coordinator from Keep Growing Detroit (KGD), talks about how climate change impacts our food system and how KGD is working to create a food-sovereign city in Detroit. Lola speaks to how Detroiters are feeling insecure about their food system due to COVID-19 and climate change and what sustainable growing means to her.
