This workshop will use the Field Guide Workbook as a guide for thinking through the early and important steps of implementing a lot design–landscaping and community engagement planning.

From testing your soil to understanding the types of plants recommended for your site, we’ll cover the landscape side of successful project planning and execution.

We will also cover the necessary community engagement aspects of successful project planning and execution. These aspects include preparing to reach out to the neighborhood and district-based businesses and civic leaders for volunteer recruitment to canvassing your neighborhood or speaking at local block club meetings.
