This workshop will help to explain the land acquisition process with the Detroit Land Bank Authority for Detroiters interested in land-based projects.

In this workshop, the DLBA will discuss the process for purchasing side lots, non-side lots and vacant lots. Attendees will also learn how to determine if a lot is for sale, becoming a community partner, working with existing community partners when purchasing vacant lots, and submitting a site plan with the proposal.

Past Working with Lots grantees, Daniel Washington of NW Goldberg Cares and Rhonda Theus of Canfield Consortium, will share valuable knowledge learned from their experiences acquiring land from both public and private entities.
