The Working with Lots program is kicking off the 2021 season with its annual Land Acquisition session with the Detroit Land Bank Authority and Emerald Isles Community Development Corporation.

Through Zoom, participants will learn some critical information regarding the acquisition process, which includes:

– A step-by-step process for purchasing side lots, neighborhood lots and non-side lot vacant lots

– How to determine if a lot is for sale

– Becoming a community partner and working with existing community partners when purchasing vacant lots

– Submitting a site plan with your acquisition proposal.
