Freshwater and land are the most important natural resources we have on earth. Both are necessary for us to survive. On Thursday, May 31, learn how together we can protect Detroit’s water and land for generations to come.
Join the Land + Water Works Coalition for an evening of presentations, demonstrations and resources at the Land + Water Works Forum. Hear from groups that have installed green stormwater infrastructure projects in their neighborhoods and learn about the City of Detroit’s Department of Water and Sewerage’s new green stormwater infrastructure initiatives. Attendees will visit rotating stations hosted by land and water stewards and meet with organizations including:
Generously sponsored by the Fred A. and Barbara M. Erb Family Foundation.
Free parking is available on-site. A light supper will be provided.
This is the fifth in a series of seven forums to take place across the city of Detroit before the end of June 2018. To find a Land + Water Works Forum in your district, visit the Neighborhood Exchange website.
