Event Navigation

We are excited to host this year’s equity forum in person at the Corner Ballpark (located at 1680 Michigan Ave)! Register today to join us for an engaging and provoking discussion with two dynamic thought leaders – Dr. Andre Perry of Brookings Metro and Naomi Davis of Blacks in Green – where we will explore the intersections between sustainability, economic equity, and community & economic development to explore a vision for a thriving and resilient Detroit and inspire action towards that vision.

We are also excited to host our first ever intimate, pre-event reception the night before our annual Equity Forum. This ticketed event will take place at Ima Izakaya (located at 2100 Michigan Ave). During this reception, we aim to celebrate DFC’s work to advance initiatives that grow the number of resilient, thriving neighborhoods and disrupt systemic racism, poverty, and other inequities to grow household income and wealth for Black Detroiters and other Detroiters of color. To learn more and to purchase your tickets for this intimate gathering of leaders passionate about Detroit’s progression, please visit: The Pre-Event Reception registration page.
