Produced in collaboration with the Southwest Detroit Business Association (SDBA) and the Detroit Local Initiative Support Corporation (LISC), “Exploring Opportunities for Equitable Development in a Southwest Detroit Industrial District” is DFC’s latest examination of strategies for the adaptive reuse of vacant industrial property in Detroit. Equitable development is defined as a range of approaches for creating healthy, vibrant, and sustainable communities where residents of all incomes, races, and ethnicities have access to the opportunities, services, and amenities they need to thrive.
