“Creating a Healthy Detroit: Understanding How the Systems We Live in Impact Our Health” highlights the intersection of health and creating thriving and resilient neighborhoods in Detroit. The brief outlines key social determinants of health in Detroit including income and poverty, employment and healthcare, environmental factors, access to transportation, and housing stability and affordability.
This brief was created to support the work of New Detroit and the recently launched Racism Is a Public Health Crisis Campaign and was funded by the United Way of Southeastern Michigan.
