In this article, the Detroit Free Press Editorial Board endorses Mary Sheffield for the Detroit Mayoral Election on Nov. 5. The board expresses how outside of Midtown and downtown Detroit, there is much more work to be done in the city.
The Detroit Free Press Editorial Board also references “the number of middle-class neighborhoods has dwindled, Detroit Future City research shows,” showcasing how the work is not yet done in Detroit’s revitalization.
