Is Detroit ‘Reconnecting Communities,’ or Missing an Opportunity?

Wilson discusses Paradise Valley and Black Bottom neighborhoods, a formally predominantly Black community displaced by the I-375 freeway and Detroit urban reneweal efforts. The article also mentions Detroit Future City’s findings of the majority of Black Detroiters who were displaced as a result of the city’s urban renewal policies.
