Project Manager
Vinita Wagh is a Project Manager with the Center for Equity, Engagement and Research at Detroit Future City (DFC). In this role, Vinita supports the Center’s efforts to advance economic equity in Detroit through her analytical expertise, leveraging statistical and spatial data analyses to inform research efforts.
Prior to joining DFC, Vinita completed a research internship with Systematica US (Transform Transport), where she employed data-driven techniques to study aspects of urban mobility and environmental resilience in New York. In India, Vinita’s experience as an architect and parametric/computational designer encompassed a diverse range of roles, from contributing to architectural projects and teaching graduate-level courses, to engaging as a design writer.
Vinita holds a master’s degree in Applied Urban Science and Informatics from New York University’s Center for Urban Science & Progress, and a masters and bachelor’s degree in Architecture from the University of Pune, India.
