Adaptive reuse of vacant industrial buildings in Detroit could help the community socially, economically, and environmentally. Although it is a topic of interest at this years BUILD Conference, German Marshall Fund’s Urban and Regional Policy Program partnered with Detroit Future City in 2015 on the Detroit Opportunity Site initiative to explore reuse of vacant industrial land and buildings.
