In this article, Sarah Rahal of the Detroit News discusses how Detroit’s Wealth Generation Task Force on Tuesday submitted a report with six policy recommendations to the mayor and the City Council on how the city can reduce poverty, grow its middle class, help combat the income gap and improve economic mobility.
Task force members include Nicole Brown, director of strategic partnerships at Detroit Future City, as well as Kathleen Colin, president of the National Association of Securities Professionals Detroit; J.R.
