Rosie Liu is the Research Assistant with the Center for Equity, Engagement, and Research department at Detroit Future City (DFC). In this role, Rosie will be responsible for supporting research projects and data needs for the Center, as well as across the DFC organization.
Before joining DFC, Rosie served as a research analyst at Data Driven Detroit where she provided data support for community leaders and nonprofit organizations, analyzed 2020 Census data and created an online interactive tool to demonstrate the census tract boundary changes from 2010 to 2020 in Michigan. Before this position, she worked as a research assistant for the Department of Urban Planning at the University of Michigan where she co-wrote the report, “A Spatial Planning Model for Multifunctional Green Infrastructure.”
Rosie has a master’s degree in urban planning from the University of Michigan as well as a graduate certificate in urban informatics.
