Engagement and Research Coordinator
Didi Adi serves through LISC Americorps as the Engagement and Research Coordinator for the Center for Equity, Engagement, and Research. In this role, she supports the Equity, Engagement, and Research team on publication work, including research, editing, and proofreading as well as community engagement initiatives. Didi is excited to take the lead on completing the DFC Engagement Manual and Toolkit. She will also help implement community engagement events that will work toward developing a shared definition of economic equity and Metro Detroit-specific indicators to be tracked over time.
Before joining DFC, Didi served as a English literacy educator for the Detroit Public Library. Didi also worked worked as a black census project researcher for The Black Futures Lab. In addition to her position at DFC, she also enjoys watching Abbott Elementary on Hulu, likes cats, and smoothies.
Didi has a bachelor’s degree in creative and professional writing.
