Calandra Jones serves as the Land Use & Sustainability Coordinator for Detroit Future City. In this role, she leads the administration of the Land + Water WORKS and Working with Lots programs, while providing project and event support to the Land Use & Sustainability team.
Calandra brings five years of progressive experience in land use project coordination and administration. Before joining DFC, Calandra was a project coordinator who researched and helped propose new large-scale subdivision developments in Grand Rapids, MI. Before this position, she managed the documentation process of commercial and industrial construction projects with a family-owned contractor while volunteering with community groups in diversity and inclusion matters.
Calandra has a Bachelor’s degree in Geography from Dartmouth College.
