Esteria Rogan is the Office Manager for Detroit Future City (DFC). In this role, she oversees the day-to-day management of the office, provides administrative support to staff and serves as the first point of contact for all external constituents.
Esteria has nearly 20 years of experience in managerial and executive administration in metro Detroit, working in industries including non-profit, community development and real estate. Prior to joining DFC, Esteria worked with Focus: Hope for six years, whereas Community Involvement/Housing Specialist, she facilitated the organization’s first housing program, which educated over 150 new homebuyers with the information and resources needed to become successful homeowners.
Prior to this position, Esteria served as the Property Development Manager for Habitat for Humanity Detroit, where she engaged with government bodies, community organizations and sponsors to help to raise public awareness on issues relevant to Habitat for Humanity mission to serve low-income families through homeownership, neighborhood revitalization and sustainability. She also has worked in various capacities for organizations including Jenkins Construction Inc., RE Investments and AER Consulting LLC.
Esteria attended Macomb Community College, where she received certifications in project management and administrative assistance. Additionally, she is a certified housing counselor.
