DFC District Meetings

The DFC Implementation Office District Meetings represent the first opportunity for DFC to return to the broader community, provide updates on the Implementation Office strategic priorities, and inspire community actions to move the city forward. The following four objectives serve as the foundation for DFC’s engagement strategies and tactics: 1) grow DFC support by increasing interest, sparking demand, and growing support for the DFC Framework and Implementation Office to sustain action over time; 2) help others use the DFC Framework by broadening use and ownership to demonstrate collective impact to achieve citywide implementation; 3) facilitate community learning and knowledge exchange and shared learning to mobilize action, improve implementation, achieve efficiencies, and maximize resources; and 4) build capacity by developing greater long-term capacity for engagement work and collective action in Detroit, both for the Framework and beyond.
